GREENWICH VILLAGE, THE WEST VILLAGE, & NOHO
The central part of Greenwich Village is Washington Square Park and the streets surrounding it. The West Village, located west of 6th avenue, is filled with charming 19th-century townhouses.
Near the Hudson River in the West Village is the newly refashioned Meatpacking District. NoHo is the area North of Houston where Greenwich Village meets the East Village.
The Main retail strips are 14th Street, Sixth Avenue, Eighth Street, and Lower Broadway around NYU.
