HARLEM & UPPER MANHATTAN
Harlem includes, roughly, the area of Manhattan north of 110th Street - the northernmost point of Central Park - up to 139th Street. Above that are the districts of Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights (entrance to the George Washington Bridge), Fort George and, way at the top of Manhattan, Inwood.
Western Harlem includes the area called Morningside Heights -- which includes Columbia University (116th - 120th street) and Morningside Park to the east of it.
The main shopping streets of Harlem include 125th Street from Morningside Avenue to Third Avenue, and upper Third Avenue in the 120's.
