MIDTOWN WEST: 42d-59th Streets - The Theater District/ Clinton/ Hell's Kitchen
With the exception of Times Square and the area north of it to Central Park, Midtown West is largley a residential section of town stretching from west of 8th avenue to the River from 42d street to 57th Street.
The Main retail strips are Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Avenues.
